Since its inception, Acme International has emerged as one of the most reliable partner across the globe for sourcing Textile Products. Its connectivity across the continents and on-time delivery with stringent quality control has boosted its growth.
From the domestic arena the group forayed into the international market with the same product – Yarn. A new company Acme International Ltd. was started in 1996. The vision was that the services and reliability which customers received from the company in the domestic market, the same service and reliability was to be carried forward to tap the international customers.
With time, today Acme International Ltd has grown into becoming a very important supply chain partner for leading textile manufacturers and brands worldwide.
Acme International has its presence in over 40 countries with its own office in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Mauritius and UK. Its product portfolio has grown to cover raw cotton, yarn, fabric, made ups and garments which is sourced through its 6 offices throughout India.
The group’s first product diversification effort out of textiles was done in 2001 with the beginning of Housewares business. The business started with export of houseware products to Europe and to other markets and with time entered into distribution and E-tailing of its various housewares / madeups / garments brands.

Acme Housewares exports houseware products from India & specializes in the export of stainless steel kitchen ware, barware, hollowware, cookware, hotel ware, kitchen tools and gadgets and to complement them with kitchen textiles.
It works on OEM & ODM designs for customers in Europe, USA & Canada. The company p enters 21st century with advent of modern technology and young minds it has entered into E-Tailing which it looks at the business of the future. As the E-tail boom starts in India in 2014 the company is already an important vendor for all the top online e-tailers like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal etc and is present in the online selling in various markets including India, USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
First point of manufacturing was entered in 2005 with inception of Acme Cotsyn by starting 25 picanol shuttleless weaving machine. With time capacity has grown and company specializes in production of Grey Fabric / Denim / Circular Knitted Fabric / Leggings.
The first initiative to get into manufacturing was taken into 2005 by starting Acme Cotsyn Pvt. Ltd. It is today a weaving project having 42 picanol rapier shuttleless machines and 30 Tsudakoma Airjet machines manufacturing about 6 lakh meters of fabric per month. The company mainly manufactures Denim, Dobby Suiting & Shirting, Corduroy, YARN DYED & Industrial Grey Fabric for selling in the domestic market.
Apart from this company is also taking job work for denim fabric and other specialized articles. It has further initiating a Greenfield Knitting facility of 12 state of the art circular knitting machines manufacturing 150 tons of greige and dyed knitting fabrics. As a forward integration the company is now in the process of converting the knitted fabrics into garments under its flagship brand “EERA” which is premium leggings / jeggings in solids and digital prints.
In the textile world “ACME” is synonymous with “RELIABILITY”
In 2010 the company started promoting exports under its own brand of ACME to add a further service to its existing manufacturers / customers.
With the advent of the textile policy of Gujarat the group started providing an additional service of facilitating the exports of yarn from Gujarat spinners (who were averse to exporting directly) to customers around the world.
The company takes advantage of the strength of the ACME brand in overseas markets and currently exports various products including cotton / cotton waste / yarns / fabrics / madeup / garments / food products under Acme brand. Major export markets include Europe, Latin America, China, Pakistan, Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan and Bangladesh. Each product goes through a stringent quality check before being exported giving our customers the satisfaction of getting the product as they expected and on time.
The flagship brand of the group Casa Copenhagen is a UK based company bought over in 2007 and brought to India.

The biggest manufacturing initiative taken by the group under LB Tex which is a Greenfield most modern weaving factory setup having 102 Picanol Summum Weaving machines manufacturing 12 lakh meters of greige fabric per month. The company is setup as an OEM facility exclusively for Arvind Ltd which is India’s biggest cotton textile company.
The setup is the best as on date having Picanol Summum Airjet machines, Luva humidifaction plant, Kaesar Compressors and makes high quality shirting and bottoms fabric for worlds top brands like Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, JC Penny, Macys, H&M, C&A, Uniglo etc.
Along with top machinery setup the company also had made a modern workers colony and a 24 hour canteen going with the group’s philosophy of providing the best amenities for the workers.
The project was conceived and commission within a record period of 8 months and has started producing zero defect fabrics with high levels of productivity.
